How will the twelve apostles rule in the Kingdom?
In the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on His throne of glory in Jerusalem, the twelve apostles will sit on twelve thrones, judging or ruling the twelve tribes of Israel. Under the King, each apostle will rule one tribe from Jerusalem in the land of Israel.
Les explains that when the curse is lifted, the tribulation ends and the Kingdom comes in; this is the regeneration. When the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory in Jerusalem, the twelve—including Matthias in Acts—will sit on twelve thrones, judging or ruling the twelve tribes of Israel. Israel will be under their King, and under Him the twelve original apostles will each rule one of the twelve tribes from Jerusalem in the land of Israel.
