What is the regeneration that Jesus spoke of?
The regeneration Jesus spoke of is the restoration of the earth to its original state before the curse, when the curse is lifted, the tribulation ends, and the Kingdom comes in. At that time, the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory in Jerusalem, and the twelve apostles rule the twelve tribes of Israel.
Les teaches that the regeneration is when the earth is restored to its original state, as it was before the curse, when the curse is lifted, the tribulation has ended, and the Kingdom is ready to come in. In the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory in Jerusalem, the twelve apostles will also sit upon twelve thrones, judging or ruling the twelve tribes of Israel. When the Kingdom is set up and Israel is under their King, the twelve original apostles will each rule one of the twelve tribes from Jerusalem, in the land of Israel. Les then turns to Acts chapter 1 and Luke 21, noting that these also deal with the closing days of the tribulation, which is tied to the beginning of the Kingdom.
