How early does the Bible reveal God's Kingdom plan?

Scripture reveals God's Kingdom plan from the very onset of the Bible, especially after Abraham's call. The Abrahamic covenant promised Israel a nation, a land, and a future king, comprising the Kingdom. Psalms 2 later portrays Messiah's rejection, tribulation, then God setting His king on Zion, centered in Jerusalem.

Les teaches that the Kingdom idea has been on God's mind from the very onset of the book itself, but especially after the call of Abraham. He explains that the Abrahamic covenant was between God and the nation of Israel: God would make them a separated, special nation, put them in a geographical area of land, and at the appropriate time come to be their king or set up the government. That, Les says, comprises the Kingdom everything is looking forward to. Les also points to Psalms chapter 2, where the format of prophecy is laid out, including the rejection of the Messiah in verse 2, God's derision of mankind, wrath and tribulation in verse 5, and then the Kingdom in verse 6, where God sets His king upon His holy hill of Zion, centered in Jerusalem.
