Les teaches that prophetically there are only three areas of the world involved in the last days of the Tribulation and the Battle of Armageddon: Western Europe, the Orient, and parts of Africa. He also notes that the Russian forces will not concern themselves with Western Europe because that is going to be the domain of the Antichrist, and that power has to be in place for the Battle of Armageddon.
Les says America is ripe for judgment, just as surely as Sodom and Gomorrah were, but he takes a lesson from Genesis 18 that God will spare judgment because of His own people. He points out that America still has a strong Christian influence and is the only possible hope of continuing to send the gospel to the regions beyond, since Europe does not, Great Britain does not, and the Orient is saturated with Eastern religions. Yet he also laments that even in America, with Bibles in almost every home and library, very few people know or understand that the end of the age is near.
