Some receive God's grace by faith; others do not because they refuse to believe.
The offer is genuinely open to everyone — the door is at ground level and the 'whosoever will' stands open (Clip0). But grace is a gift that must be received by faith; every person has already been pardoned through the cross, yet that pardon does not become effective until it is appropriated by believing the gospel (Clip5). Those who reject the message simply do not trust what God has done (Clip7).
Romans 3:23-24 — Declares that everyone is a sinner and that justification is freely by God's grace through redemption in Christ, showing receiving grace is God's gift, not human merit.

Jesus says, "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved" (John 10:9), and believers are told, "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace" (Romans 6:14).
Les Feldick teaches that the reason some receive God's grace and others do not is not because God withholds grace, but because people respond differently. He explains that the door of salvation is set at ground level — it is not beyond an impossible obstacle — and the 'whosoever will' is always open; the unsaved person does not need to worry about whether God has elected them (Clip0). Everyone has had an opportunity; those who are lost have chosen not to believe (Clip1). Les also stresses that God's grace is completely unmerited — no one deserves it, and it cannot be earned or worked for (Clip1). He goes further: every human being has already been pardoned by virtue of the work of the cross, but that pardon must be appropriated by faith. Those who do not receive grace will not receive it because they will not believe God's testimony about the cross (Clip5). In Les's teaching, election is simply God's foreknowledge of who would become believers, not a barrier that keeps anyone out (Clip0).
Les points out that no one will stand at the great white throne and tell God they never had a chance; those who are lost had a certain amount of understanding (Clip0). All have sinned and are guilty before God (Romans 3:23). Grace, by definition, is unmerited favor — it is not something a person can demand. If someone tries to work for salvation, they are contradicting what the Bible calls a gift (Clip1).

God's offer of grace is open to everyone — the door to the sheepfold is at ground level and the 'whosoever will' is always open, so no one can claim they never had a chance.
Grace Is a Gift, Not a Wage
No one deserves or earns salvation; all have had their opportunity, and those who reject grace have chosen not to be saved.
Grace Keeps the Believer
The same grace that saves also keeps the believer; no one deserves to be kept for even six hours, but God graciously continues.
