The price of our redemption is the precious blood of Jesus Christ — the only payment God accepts for buying us back.

Hebrews declares, "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission" (Hebrews 9:22). Paul also reminds the Corinthians that their body is the temple of the Holy Ghost and that they are bought with a price, so they are not their own (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Les Feldick teaches that the price of our redemption is the precious blood of Christ. He emphasizes that redemption means being bought back — God lost the human race when Adam fell, and the only way He could recover it was to pay a price, which was His own blood (Clips 3, 4, 7). Hebrews states plainly: "without shedding of blood is no remission" (Hebrews 9:22). To be redeemed means to be bought back, and Les uses the illustration of redeeming an item from a pawnshop — you pay the price to get it back (Clip 7). Peter says the believer was not redeemed with silver and gold but with the precious blood of Christ (1 Peter 1:18-19). Paul asks, "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost... and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Redemption cannot be circumvented or replaced by any other means.
Believers Are Not Their Own
