In Daniel 2, Nebuchadnezzar sees a great image of gold, silver, brass, iron, and clay. Daniel 2:35 says that after these are broken to pieces together, "the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth." Daniel 2:44 adds that "the God of heaven" will "set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed," and it "shall stand for ever." These verses show the kingdom's worldwide scope and its divine, everlasting character. Other prophetic passages reinforce that this is an earthly kingdom. Zechariah 14:9 says, "And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one." Psalm 2:8 promises the Messiah "the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession." These texts describe a visible reign over the entire planet, not a kingdom confined to one place. The same prophetic stream pictures the physical conditions of that reign. Isaiah 2:4 describes beating swords into plowshares, indicating agricultural productivity. Ezekiel 47:10 also points to a transformed land, with fishermen spreading their nets by the sanctuary river.

Les teaches that those who are in the body of Christ — genuinely born from above — will rule and reign with Him over that glorious kingdom, as the New Testament and the book of Revelation also show.
The Lord Over All the Earth

Physical and Spiritual Features of the Kingdom

The Image and the Succession of Empires
Les explains that Daniel told Nebuchadnezzar he was the head of gold, and that inferior kingdoms would follow — the historical context for the stone kingdom that replaces them all.
Daniel 2:35: Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

Les teaches it will be on the earth. He says the kingdom of heaven is going to be the kingdom on earth, and it will cover the whole earth, not just Palestine, when Christ returns and sets it up.
It is both. Les says the kingdom is spiritual, physical, and political at the same time. It is physical because it is an earthly kingdom with agricultural production and peaceful animals, and spiritual because there is no curse, no sin, and no death.
According to Les, it will come to its fruition when Christ returns and sets it up on the earth, after the image of Gentile empires has been smitten by the stone.
He taught that believers who are truly born from above and in the body of Christ will rule and reign with Him over that glorious kingdom.
