Applying Revelation 6, Les says this leader can come with the threat of power—Western Europe still has NATO—but not with actual military command yet. The world will recognize him as leader before he fully seizes control.
Les addresses the idea that the Antichrist will be assassinated and raised back to life. He says, 'I do not think so.' Instead, he sees the 'wounded to death' head as the ancient Roman Empire, which everyone thought was dead but is coming back as if nothing had happened. The healing of the deadly wound is the revived empire.
