Les Feldick teaches that Eastern Europe is prophetically linked to Gomer in Ezekiel 38, and that it will join Russia’s coalition in a future invasion of Israel.
In his teaching, the division of Germany at the Elbe River set apart Gomer from Western Europe, aligning Eastern Europe with the northern powers named in Ezekiel. He says the Russian army remains intact and will invade Israel at the end times, though the clips focus on military and political alignment rather than on ethnic or religious conflict.
Ezekiel 38:6 — Lists Gomer and Togarmah among the northern peoples in the coalition that invades Israel.
Revelation 6:4 — Describes the red horse, which Les identifies as the Russian-led invasion of Israel.
Zechariah 14:2 — Foretells all nations gathered against Jerusalem, called the battle of Armageddon by Les.
The Bible does not use the modern term “Eastern Europe,” but Ezekiel 38 and 39 describe a coalition of northern nations, including Gomer, Togarmah, Meshech, and Tubal, that will invade Israel in the latter days. The prophet also names Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya as part of the army (Ezekiel 38:5-6). Revelation 6:4 shows a red horse whose rider is empowered to take peace from the earth, causing people to kill one another. Zechariah 14:2 similarly predicts that all nations will be gathered against Jerusalem, with the city taken and half the population going into captivity.
Les identifies Gomer with Eastern Europe, pointing to the Elbe River as the eastern border of the old Roman Empire and the dividing line that set Gomer apart from Western Europe. He notes that after the Cold War, East Germany's army remained in the Warsaw Pact, and he uses that as evidence that the prophetic alignment is still on track. Les insists Russia is not finished. The Russian army sits intact east of the Ural Mountains, espionage operations continue, and the “Russian bear is alive and well.” He identifies the red horse of Revelation 6 as the Russian-led invasion of Ezekiel 38, which will occur early in the Tribulation, and he speculates that Russia will first strike America because America is not mentioned in prophecy.
Les points to the Elbe River as the eastern border of the old Roman Empire, which divided Germany and set Gomer apart from Western Europe. He references a post-Cold War agreement between Helmut Kohl and Gorbachev that kept the East German Army in the Warsaw Pact for at least four more years, showing that the eastern bloc remained prophetically intact.
Les firmly says yes. He teaches that despite economic hardship, Russia's army remains intact east of the Ural Mountains, its espionage staff has not been reduced, and the “Russian bear is alive and well.” He identifies Russia as Gog and Magog in Ezekiel 38 and says the red horse of Revelation 6 will be that great Russian invasion.
Les invites his listeners to think like Russian military planners: the first move would be to unload everything on North America because that is the only country that could counteract the invasion. He stresses this is his own conjecture, but notes that prophecy focuses only on Western Europe, Russia, the Orient, and Africa, not America.
Les sees the Middle East as a simmering boiling pot that will continue until the end-time events described in the Bible. He expects Israel to remain intact for the great Russian invasion, and he says the nation will still face terrible days when Gentile armies overrun it.
Gomer and the Elbe River Division
Les shows how the Elbe River marked the eastern border of the Roman Empire and separated Gomer from Western Europe, connecting Eastern Europe to the Ezekiel 38 coalition.
Russian Military Strategy Before the Invasion
Les speculates a Russian general would unload everything on North America first, since no other nation could counteract the invasion.
Middle East as a Boiling Pot
Les says the Middle East will continue simmering until Russia and her satellite nations invade Israel at the end times.
The First Lie: How Satan Deceived Eve (Genesis 3 Bible Study)
Had it not happened, we wouldn't have the great land that we've got. America would have not been an influential power in prophetic happenings. For example, if it hadn't been for America, who would have ever stopped Hitler? He would have just literally usurped the globe. But God had America ready. All right, now the same way over there.
Red Horse as Russian Invasion
Les teaches the red horse of Revelation 6 is the great Russian invasion of Ezekiel 38, and that Russia is not done.
Gentile Armies Overrun Israel
Les says all Middle Eastern nations are building military hardware for the end-time battle and that Israel will be overrun in the last three and a half years.
Russian Bear Alive and Well
Les insists the Russian army remains intact east of the Ural Mountains and espionage continues, so the prophetic Russian coalition is still viable.
America Absent from Prophecy
Les thinks Russia will strike America first, and he observes that prophecy only deals with Western Europe, Russia, the Orient, and Africa.
Ezekiel 38:2: Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
Names the leader and lands involved in the northern coalition that Les associates with Russia and Eastern Europe.
Ezekiel 38:6: Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
Mentions Gomer and Togarmah, the names Les connects with Eastern European peoples.
Revelation 6:4: And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
The red horse's removal of peace is what Les identifies as the Russian-led invasion of Israel.
Zechariah 14:2: For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Describes the gathering of all nations against Jerusalem, which Les says will be the end-time doom of Armageddon.
Yes. He says Russia with her satellite nations will invade Israel in what he calls the great Russian invasion of Ezekiel 38 and 39. He identifies the red horse of Revelation 6 as that invasion, occurring early in the Tribulation.
Les identifies Gomer with Eastern Europe. He points to the Elbe River as the old Roman Empire's eastern border, which set Gomer apart from Western Europe in the prophetic picture.
Because, he says, a Russian general would first unload everything on North America since only America could counteract an invasion. He calls it speculation but notes America does not appear in Bible prophecy.
