Les Feldick Bible Study

Which believers are included in the resurrection Les is talking about?

The resurrection of the just includes all believers from Adam’s time in Genesis through the very end of the Tribulation. It covers every redeemed person from the onset of human history until that final period, while the unjust or lost are raised later in a separate resurrection.

Les explains that Scripture speaks of two resurrections: the resurrection of the just and, later, the resurrection of the unjust or the lost. The resurrection of the just, he says, includes all believers from the very onset of Adam back in Genesis up until the very end of the Tribulation. He connects this to 1 Corinthians 15:20, where Christ is risen from the dead and has become the firstfruits of them that slept, or who have died physically. Since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. Les qualifies that resurrection is not merely being called back as Lazarus was, who died again, but being brought into the eternal state.
