Where were the seeds of what is revealed in Revelation sown?

The seeds of what is revealed in Revelation were sown in Genesis. Everything now coming to full flower in Revelation was sown back in Genesis. The context ties this to Genesis' seven days, where six days prepared creation for man and the seventh was God's rest.

Les explains that when he first started teaching Revelation, he made the point that all the seeds of what are finally coming to fruition in Revelation were sown in Genesis. Everything now coming to full flower in Revelation was sown back in Genesis. He connects this to the seven days in Genesis: six days prepared all of creation for the appearance of man, so six has always been the number of man throughout creation and Scripture. Six is the number of man; six days and God got everything ready for mankind. But then comes the seventh day, the day of God's rest. He also notes that for 6,000 years man has pretty much run the show, at least he thinks he does, but there is that 7,000th year left. This relates to 2 Peter 3:8, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
