What will the Lord do to the nations gathered in the Middle East when He returns?
When He returns, the Lord will go forth and fight against the nations gathered in the Middle East. Though they come to destroy Israel, they are destroyed in turn by Christ’s return, and His feet will stand upon the Mount of Olives. He then deals with His archenemies before His Kingdom.
Les teaches that at His return the Lord will go forth and fight against the nations gathered in the Middle East, and then His feet will stand upon the Mount of Olives. These kings and their armies have come to the Middle East to destroy the nation of Israel, but they are destroyed in turn by the return of Christ. Before the King can come in to establish His earthly Kingdom, He must deal with His archenemies. Revelation shows the beast, the Antichrist, and the false prophet are taken. Les describes an unholy trinity: Satan is synonymous with God the Father, the false prophet with the Holy Spirit, and the Antichrist with Christ, with the false prophet causing people to worship the Antichrist even as the Holy Spirit leads believers to worship Christ. Everything then moves quickly to prepare the earth for the appearance of His Kingdom, which has been spoken of since the onset of human history.
