When will people see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory?
According to Luke 21, after cataclysmic signs—signs in the sun, moon, and stars, distress of nations, and the powers of heaven shaken—then people will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. This occurs at His Second Coming, not the Rapture.
Les teaches that Jesus was speaking to the Jew about His Second Coming, not the Rapture, and that these are two totally separate events. After all the cataclysmic signs—signs in the sun, moon, and stars, distress of nations with perplexity, the sea and waves roaring, men's hearts failing for fear, earthquakes, volcanoes, meteorites, famine, floods, and the powers of heaven shaken because God's wrath is being poured out—then shall they see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to come to pass, believers are to look up and lift up their heads, for their redemption draweth nigh. This Second Coming is when He will come and stand on the Mount of Olives on the east side of Jerusalem.
