What is the difference between Les Feldick's television class and his weekly night classes?
The television class is limited to a 30-minute program, so there is no time for audience questions or discussion. The weekly night classes run two hours and allow people to ask questions and engage in open discussion together. That length is the key difference.
Les explains that the studio class is informal, and the only difference between it and the weekly night classes is that the two-hour night classes let people just ask questions and have discussions, and they “just have a ball.” In the 30-minute time of a television program, he says, they just can't do it. He also tells folks in eastern Oklahoma who are able to drive a little ways to call and join the nightly classes as well.
