What will Christ do to the world's kingdoms when he sets up his kingdom?

When Christ sets up His kingdom, He will obliterate the world's kingdoms from view; they will blow away like the dust of the summer threshing floor. He will then establish His own glorious kingdom with absolute, total power, and the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of the Lord and of His Christ, reigning forever.

Les teaches that Satan claimed the world's kingdoms were his and offered them to Christ on condition of worship. But Satan did not comprehend that Christ was going to have those kingdoms. They are going to be His, and one day He will simply obliterate them from view; they will blow away like the dust of the summer threshing floor, as Daniel says. Christ will then set up His own kingdom, a glorious kingdom. Though Satan is currently the god of this world and in control, he remains under the sovereign God and is held in check. When Christ sets up His kingdom, His power will be absolute, total, and glorious. Revelation declares that the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever. Les sees the thousand-year reign as the introduction to the eternal.
