What will Satan do to the human race in the final three and a half years?
Knowing his time is short, Satan will unleash unprecedented wrath upon the human race during the final three and a half years. He will pull out all the stops, pouring out every torment he can devise, including things never used before, because he aims at the heart of God.
Les explains that Satan comes to Jerusalem to join the Antichrist and has great wrath because he knows he has but a short time—three and a half years. He knows he is going to pull all the stops, pouring out everything he can think of that he has never used before upon the human race. Though people are already in his pocket, Les gives the Mafia illustration: when an underworld organization cannot make a strong businessman knuckle under, it threatens his family to get at him. So Satan torments the human race to get at the heart of God. God's wrath is coupled with Satan's, making that final three and a half years what it is. That period is awesome, and the seventh seal triggers the seven trumpets.
