Is Satan watching every move Christians make?
Yes. Scripture presents Satan as watching believers, and when they fail he immediately accuses them before the Lord day and night. The world also watches every move Christians make. Even so, God watches His children closely, writes that they sin not, and knows they will stumble without His watchful eye.
Les teaches that it is a sobering thought that not only is the world watching every move we make, but Satan is watching too. The minute we fail, he is right up there. Les explains that Satan is constantly accusing us before the Lord, day and night, and every time he sees us fail he immediately reports in, saying, "Aha! You see what that person did? I thought he was one of yours." But Les then points to the comforting fact found in 1 John chapter 2 verse 1, where John writes, "My little children." Les says he loves that address because it makes him feel like a little child again, like a two- or three-year-old whom a mother cannot watch close enough, yet that mother loves the child and will not let anything happen to it. In the same way, Les says, that is how he feels regarding God: God is watching us so closely, and He knows that without His watchful eye we will stumble and goof it up. Yet God says, "My little children, these things I write unto you, that you sin not." Les notes that God's first choice is still that we do not sin, but God knows we will, because we are human.
