Are the Jewish remnant already believers when God brings them out in Revelation?

No. The Jewish remnant is not yet believing when God brings them out; they depart in unbelief, yet under God’s sovereign hand. He takes them into the wilderness for three and a half years, and they are ultimately saved. This mirrors Israel’s supernatural exodus from Egypt.

Les explains that just as God supernaturally moved the millions of Israelites out of Egypt, Revelation presents the same setting: supernaturally and sovereignly, God will bring out a remnant of Jews who are going to be saved. At that point, they are not believers yet; they go out in unbelief, but nevertheless they are under the sovereign thumb of their eternal God. He will take them into the wilderness for three and a half years. Les also draws the analogy of Egypt: as Pharaoh pursued Israel with his army and chariots to destroy them, so the Antichrist, working through the serpent, will send an armed force after this great group of Jews fleeing from the Jerusalem area to destroy them.
