How is God treating Israel in light of their unbelief?

God has not cast Israel away or destroyed them for unbelief. He is still dealing with them on the basis of their unbelief, yet their stumble brought salvation to Gentiles. A partial spiritual blindness remains only until God finishes His work with the Gentiles; then blindness will be lifted, and all Israel shall be saved.

Les teaches that God is still going to finish His program with Israel. Their stumble did not mean God would destroy or banish them; rather, through their fall salvation came to the Gentiles. If their fall brought riches to the world and their diminishing brought riches to the Gentiles, how much more their fullness. Their great future is still ahead, but God is still dealing with them on the basis of what they did in unbelief. God will yet restore the nation of Israel to its original promises and covenant position. In Romans 11:25, He reveals the mystery that spiritual blindness in part, not forever but for a period of time, has happened to Israel until God has finished His work with the Gentiles. Then He takes us out of the way, and the blindness will be lifted from the Jew. Verse 26 then says, “And so all Israel shall be saved.”

Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
