What happens to the two witnesses?

God sends two witnesses to the nation of Israel in Jerusalem. Through their preaching, 144,000 young Jewish men are sealed and commissioned to proclaim the gospel of the kingdom worldwide. After coming on the scene and preaching, these two witnesses are eventually put to death.

Les explains that God sends the two witnesses to Israel in the Jerusalem area at the beginning. He does not name them because Scripture doesn't name them, though some call them Elijah and Moses or Elijah and Enoch. Out of their preaching, the 144,000 young Jewish men are sealed and commissioned to take the gospel of the kingdom—the good news that the King is coming—around the world. They will be saved on the merit of the cross, but the message is that the King is coming. Later, after the Antichrist, war, famine, disease, pestilence, and Israel's realization that they are not in utopia, the midpoint arrives, and these two witnesses are put to death.
