What is the great white throne judgment in Revelation?

It is the judgment of all the lost of humanity, occurring after the thousand years and before eternity. The devil, beast, and false prophet go directly to the lake of fire without it, but all other lost of the ages stand before the Lord at this white throne.

Les explains that after the thousand years have run their course and we are ready to go into eternity, the great white throne is introduced as the judgment of all the lost of humanity in verse 11. He notes that Satan, the dragon, the old devil who deceived them, is cast into the lake of fire and brimstone in verse 10. The Antichrist, the beast, and the false prophet are still there after a thousand years—they have not been annihilated or destroyed. These three personalities who made up the unholy trinity of the tribulation go straight to that eternal doom, the lake of fire which burns forever and ever, without benefit of the great white throne judgment; they go immediately. They will be joined by all the other lost of the ages, but those others will at least have their moment of time before the Lord at the great white throne.

Revelation 20:11

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
