How should you read the chronological order of the book of Revelation?
The book of Revelation does not unfold in strict chronological order. Read it by skipping around to locate events at the opening, then events at the midpoint, then events at the end. After identifying those three anchor points, fill in the two gaps between them.
Les teaches that the book of Revelation does not unfold chronologically. He says you have to learn how to skip around and locate the events at the opening, the events at the midpoint, and the events at the end, then fill in the two gaps between them. In the last several programs he has applied this by examining things at the beginning, such as the Antichrist's appearance out of Daniel 9, when he signs a seven-year treaty with Israel, which restarts God's time clock after the church age. That treaty sets off events including the two witnesses and the sealing of 144,000 young Jewish men who proclaim the gospel of the kingdom.
