What happens to North America and the Russian homeland after the two annihilations?
Following the two annihilations, North America is out of the picture for the most part, and the Russian homeland is out of the picture. This follows America's retaliation that knocks out the whole Russian homeland; then the narrative moves to famines, pestilences, earthquakes, and the third seal's black horse.
Les explains that this occurs in tribulation, when events begin taking place beyond human understanding. When America retaliates and knocks out the whole Russian homeland, between those two annihilations North America is out of the picture for the most part, and the Russian homeland is out of the picture. He then connects Matthew 24 and Revelation 6 as direct parallels. After the wars, Matthew 24:7 says there shall be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in diverse places, and Revelation 6:5 shows the third seal with a black horse and a pair of balances in the rider's hand.
