Which areas of the world are involved in the end-times Tribulation and Battle of Armageddon?

Les explains that prophetically there are only three areas of the world involved in the last days of the Tribulation or the Battle of Armageddon: Western Europe, the Orient, and parts of Africa. He notes that nothing in prophecy concerning the very end involves the Russian hordes or the Western Hemisphere. The Russian forces will not concern themselves with Western Europe because that is the domain of the Antichrist, and that power must be in place for the Battle of Armageddon. God will turn the Russian forces away from Western Europe and bring them down into the Middle East, but not Russia alone. A consortium of nations, especially before Communism fell, were either Communist or on the verge, and these nations and peoples will come with the Russians or the Northern Confederation down to the hills and mountains of Israel. Listed among them are Persia, now called Iran, and Ethiopia, which was a hotbed of Communism in Africa.
