Which half of the Tribulation is the time of severe wrath and vexation?

The last three and a half years of the seven-year Tribulation are the time of severe wrath and vexation. The first three and a half years will be bad, but they will not compare to the intensity of the final three and a half years, which Scripture consistently divides at forty-two months.

Les explains that the final seven years, Daniel's 70th week, begins when the Antichrist signs the seven-year treaty with Israel, opening the seal judgments. The first three and a half years are not so much the wrath and vexation as the last three and a half. They will be bad enough, but nothing like the final half. Scripture consistently divides this seven years into three and a half and three and a half, or forty-two months and forty-two months.
