Will Israel become God's people again?
Yes. A day is coming when Israel will again be God's people. God will give them a new heart, cleanse them, and establish the new covenant with the house of Israel, not like the old covenant of law. Every Israelite will have God's heart within them, be obedient, believing, cleansed, and materially blessed.
Les explains that Israel is currently out of fellowship with God, so He does not call them “My people” at this time, even though He still watches over them and uses the term “Thy people” to Daniel and others. But Les teaches that the day is coming when they will be God's people. They will receive a new heart, God will cleanse them, and the new covenant of Jeremiah 31 will become reality with the house of Israel—not like the old covenant of law. Under it, no one will have to teach them the Word or tell them what the law commands; every Israelite will have God's heart within them. They will be obedient, a people of faith and believing, cleansed from all iniquity, and will prosper materially, showered with the blessings of their God.
