Who will wonder after or follow the beast?
According to the text, all the world—not merely Europe or the Mediterranean region—will wonder after the beast. The whole world will be ready to fall at his feet, and they will worship both the beast and the dragon, Satan, who gives him power.
Les explains that the beast receives power, talents, and ability from Satan, takes over ten nations (which he believes are the European community), and rises to become the great world leader. Though many see the Roman Empire as dead, Les says it comes back as if nothing happened. When the deadly wound is healed, all the world—not just Europe or the Mediterranean—wonders after the beast. Les connects this to increased Satan worship, Oriental religions, and the occult, saying the world will worship the beast and the Satanic power behind him.
