Did Israel have enough Old Testament teaching to know who Jesus was?

Yes. The Old Testament was full of it, and Israel could have known who He was if they had just studied the book. They had sufficient revelation, but Israel did not know Him. Their failure was not lack of evidence but unwillingness to listen and learn.

Les explains that the Old Testament was full of it, and Israel could have known who He was if they had just studied the book, but Israel did not know. He compares this to America: there is not a man, woman, boy or girl in America who could not know the plan of salvation or that we're in the last days, but they don't, because they don't want to. They will not listen or learn because they don't want to know any better, and Les says that was Israel's plot as well. He also notes that the Gentiles shall come to thy light and kings to the brightness of thy right hand, recalling Isaiah 2:2 that the Gentiles shall flow unto it, and says if only Israel could have believed it. Turning to the New Testament, Les points to Matthew 1:1, the book of the generations of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham, and asks why stop at Abraham, with Luke chapter 3 giving the next genealogy.
