What was God's plan to use Israel to bring salvation to the Gentiles?
God's plan was that once Israel's Messiah was established as King and the kingdom was in place, the nation of Israel would bring salvation and the knowledge of Jehovah to the Gentiles. This was the prophetic program, but Israel rejected it, so the opportunity was not fulfilled as intended.
Les teaches that God was going to use the nation of Israel, after the king and the kingdom were established, to bring salvation—the knowledge of their Jehovah—to the Gentiles. This was the prophetic program, which Israel later rejected. In Isaiah chapter 42, Les explains that once Israel's Messiah was in place as King, she could have had the opportunity to bring the Gentiles to a knowledge of her God. At that point in time, God was dealing with the Jew only.
