How will the end-times empire resemble Alexander the Great's leopard empire?
The end-times empire will display the swiftness and tenacity characteristic of Alexander the Great's leopard empire, combining it with bestial totalitarian power like Nebuchadnezzar, the crushing force of the Medes and Persians, and the residue of ancient Rome behind a seeming democracy, while its ruler remains absolute.
Les explains that Revelation parallels Daniel: the end-times government has ten horns and is bestial in character. Its ruler will exercise power and totalitarian control like Nebuchadnezzar, rumble over people like the bear, the Medes and Persians, and have the swiftness and tenacity of the leopard empire of Alexander the Great. He will also carry all the residue of the ancient Roman Empire with a seeming democracy behind it, yet he himself will be absolute. Les says the whole thing is coming together perfectly, and the closer we come to it, the more accurate this book will appear.
