How was God's sign to Moses fulfilled?

God’s sign to Moses was fulfilled when Israel came out of Egypt and camped at Mount Sinai. There they served God, and Moses went up the mountain, received the Ten Commandments and tabernacle instructions, and the tabernacle and priesthood were established around Sinai.

Les explains that in chapter 3 and verse 12, God promised Moses His presence and gave a token: after Moses brought Israel out of Egypt, the nation would serve God upon that mountain. That was fulfilled when Israel went down to Mount Sinai and camped around its base. Moses went up into the mountain, received the Ten Commandments, and was given instructions for building the tabernacle. Around Mount Sinai the tabernacle was finally built and the priesthood was established.

Exodus 3:12

And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.
