Who spoke from the burning bush in Exodus 3?
The one who spoke from the burning bush was God, specifically Jehovah, identified as God the Son. Although the text says God spoke, the person of the Godhead communicating and actually present in the bush is Jehovah, or God the Son.
Les teaches that Moses came to Mount Sinai, saw the burning bush, drew aside because it was not consumed, and approached it. Les explains that God spoke out of the bush; however, the person of the Godhead communicating and actually present in the burning bush was Jehovah, or God the Son. He says this is one of his favorite lessons and indicates he will prove that point shortly.
