Les Feldick Bible Study

Will God bring a child back to the faith if they stray after being raised in the Word?

Yes. When children raised in the Word stray during youthful years, God will bring them back. Parents should never give up or cut off communication. In maturity, sometimes in their thirties, they will recall what they learned under their parents' roof, and those precepts will ring a bell, leading them to return.

Les teaches parents never to give up, because even though children have been trained and are in the Word, they may stray during their youthful years, but God will bring them back. He says he has seen this over and over. When these kids reach maturity, maybe even in their 30s, they suddenly realize Mom and Dad weren't so dumb after all, and they come back to it. So he tells parents, don't give up on them, don't cut the lines of communication, because what they picked up while under your roof will someday start ringing a bell, and they will come back to those precepts.
