Les Feldick Bible Study

How does Les describe the Christian life?

The Christian life is a growth process, likened to an infant who must be fed, nurtured, and loved as they grow. Salvation brings a 180-degree turn, evidenced by a changed lifestyle that may take time, not necessarily overnight.

Les explains that before salvation people are sinners, nothing, rebels, and enemies. Once salvation comes, there should be a 180-degree turn. He tells his class that the first thing he looks for when someone claims to have recently been saved is a change in lifestyle; it just has to happen. He has seen total change in many people over the years. He notes it may not happen overnight and may take time, because the Christian life is a growth process, just like an infant coming into the world who must be fed, nurtured, and loved as they grow. So it is in the Christian experience.
