When will Israel's unbelief end and the Jews again be the apple of God's eye?

Israel's unbelief will end in the future days Jeremiah foretold, when God makes a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. Though Jeremiah wrote in 600 B.C., the prophecy remains future from our time, but it is coming. Then the Jew will once again be the apple of God's eye.

Les explains that the day is coming when Israel's ungodliness and unbelief will come to an end, and the Jew will once again be the apple of God's eye. He points to Jeremiah 31:31, where God says, "Behold, the days come," and notes that even though Jeremiah wrote in 600 B.C., it is still future from our time, but it is coming, and God expects us to believe it. God said He will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. Les teaches that He could not make a new covenant until the previous one had run its course. The Abrahamic covenant is still going to be fulfilled: Israel will be a nation of people living within their geographical area with a super, super government, God Himself in the person of Christ the Messiah, their King. When that becomes a full reality, Israel's spiritual condition will change. The new covenant is not according to the covenant God made with their fathers in the day He took them by the hand to bring them out of Egypt, which was the Law; and law was harsh, law was a burden.
