Why is Christ the epitome of the Godhead?

Christ is the epitome of the Godhead because He settled down in the Godhead bodily, with that resurrected body He left from the Mount of Olives and ascended into glory. Isaiah’s promised child born and Son given, whose government rests on His shoulder, is named Jesus Christ, Our God.

Les explains that the Godhead is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Christ is the epitome of that Godhead because He settled down in it bodily, with the resurrected body He left from the Mount of Olives and ascended into glory. Les connects this to Isaiah 9:6-7, where the prophet writes to the nation of Israel about a child born and a son given. The government will be upon His shoulder in His thousand-year rule and reign as King of kings and Lord of lords. His name is called Jesus Christ, Our God, showing God the Father and God the Son already entwined in that verse. Les also notes this Christ died for us, feeds us today, is the Christ in whom we dwell, and is coming again.
