When is Ephesians 1:10 fulfilled—the gathering together of all things in Christ?

Ephesians 1:10 is fulfilled during the thousand-year reign of Christ, after the church is removed and God resumes His dealings with Israel through the still-future seven-year period. Then Christ establishes His rule and reign as King of kings and Lord of lords, and all things heavenly and earthly are brought together in Him.

Les explains that after the church is out of the way, God picks up with the nation of Israel where He left off. Israel had been floating through human history among the nations, but in 1948 it became an independent nation, so God can deal with Israel again. The church must be out of the way, and God will finish His dealings in the seven years still future, part of the Old Testament prophecies. Then, when the earthly people are ready for the coming of their King, He will come as King, establish His rule and reign for a thousand years, and be King of kings and Lord of lords. In that thousand-year reign, the tenth verse becomes a fulfilled reality, where all things, heavenly and earthly, are brought together in Christ, even in Him.

Ephesians 1:10
