What did the Corinthians hold against Paul regarding his time with Jesus?

The Corinthians charged that Paul lacked the three years of personal time with Jesus that Peter and the eleven had. They contended Peter had walked with Jesus for three years, while Paul had not, and used that as a major controversy against the Apostle Paul.

Les explains that one of the major controversies the Corinthians held against the Apostle Paul was that he did not have the same three years with Jesus that Peter had. Peter and the eleven had walked those dusty trails of Israel with Jesus for three years, and the Corinthians bombarded Paul with this objection. But Les points out that Paul actually had it better: he had three years down in Mount Sinai with no one around but the Lord Himself, so the Lord evened everything up.

Galatians 1:18
