What will God do in the fullness of time?
In the dispensation of the fullness of time—the final period when God deals with the human race in a particular way, called the Millennium, the thousand-year reign—God will gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on the earth.
Les explains that Ephesians 1 shows God has purposed everything within Himself so that, in the dispensation of the fullness of time, He might gather together in one all things in Christ. That final period is when God will deal with the human race in a particular way—the Millennium, the thousand-year reign. The gathering includes all things in heaven and on earth, and Christ Himself is the One in whom all the fullness is manifested bodily. The same body that ascended from Mount Olives is now epitomized in the Godhead, with all fullness manifested in Christ Himself.
