What is the revelation of the mystery or secret?
The revelation of the mystery is the whole package of revealed truth given through the Apostle Paul after the redemption price was paid, the cross work finished, and the resurrection power displayed. God can now pour it out on the human race, and it contains all the truth the Church needs today.
Les explains that the revelation of the secret is the whole package of revealed truth that comes from the pen of the Apostle Paul. God had kept this secret since before anything was created, so Jesus and Peter could not preach it. But because the price of redemption was paid, the work of the cross is done, and because of the power of His resurrection, God can now pour out this package on the human race. In Paul's writings we have all the truth the Church needs today; you don't have to go elsewhere. Les notes this does not mean throwing away the rest of the Bible, for all the Bible works to its common end. He suggests if Christendom spent 90% of its time in Paul's epistles and 10% in the rest of the Bible, things would begin to happen, but it is the other way around.
