Is everything we have and enjoy by the grace of God?
Everything we have and enjoy—whether spiritual, material, or physical—is by the grace of God. We deserve nothing in this world, yet by His grace we are accepted in the Beloved, in Christ. It is by His grace that we have been presented with the plan of salvation and have responded.
Les teaches that if he has trumpeted any one word through the years of the program, it is grace. He emphasizes that we deserve none of this and nothing in this world, but what we have and enjoy—spiritual, material, or physical—is all by the grace of God. He notes that we are accepted in the Beloved, which means in Christ, and that this standing is by His grace. God could have let us slip out into an eternity lost and without hope, but by His grace He presented us with the plan of salvation, and we responded. This positional acceptance is in the Beloved.
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
