Why are we sinners according to Romans 3:23?

Romans 3:23 identifies us as sinners by virtue of our being sons of Adam. Our sinfulness is tied to Adam, not to speaking in tongues, joining the Church, baptism, or legalism. When we believe this verse applies to us and that the cross has done everything, God justifies, saves, and declares us righteous.

Les explains that Romans 3:23 is speaking about us, that we are sinners by virtue of being sons of Adam. He says he is not an easy believer and never teaches easy believism, but he maintains that when we totally believe this verse is about us, and that the work of the cross has done everything, God justifies us, saves us, declares us righteous, places us into the Body, sanctifies, glorifies, forgives, and has His own system of baptism—the Holy Spirit placing us into the Body of Christ. All of this is because we simply believe the Gospel, and it is grace, not legalism.
