What has God sent forth now instead of the Son?
God has sent forth the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of promise, instead of the Son in this present age. The Spirit of His Son is sent into the hearts of believers, not into denominations or church buildings. This indwelling Spirit enables believers to cry, 'Abba, Father.'
