What is it like to enjoy doctrinal truths before glory?
Enjoying doctrinal truths before glory means salvation is more than a fire escape from hell to heaven; it is God with us here and now, helping believers avoid life's pitfalls. That present help is the most important part, even though people can still fall into horrible circumstances.
The teaching explains from Galatians 4:6 that the focus is not salvation itself but the believer’s position after salvation. It is a great thing to enjoy these doctrinal truths even short of glory itself. Salvation is not just a fire escape—people often think only of getting saved so they will not go to hell and will go to heaven. That is part of it, but not the most important part. The most important part is that God is with us here and now, and He can help us avoid all the pitfalls of life. Yet people still call in terrible situations, and one wonders how they get into such horrible circumstances.
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
