What did God say He would put between the serpent and the woman?

God said He would put enmity between the serpent, Satan, and the woman, and between the serpent's seed and the woman's seed. This was spoken in Genesis 3:15 after the fall, immediately giving hope for the race through the promise of a Redeemer.

Les teaches that in Genesis chapter 3, verse 15, the Lord is dealing with the serpent, Satan, after Eve and Adam have fallen. God says He will put enmity between Satan through the serpent and the woman, and between thy seed and the woman's seed, implying the seed of the woman. Les explains that immediately God comes back with hope for the race, which is the promise of a Redeemer.
