Where in the Bible is the Body of Christ taught?
The Body of Christ is taught in the writings of Paul, not in the Gospels or the Old Testament. Paul teaches that faith in the Gospel makes believers members. Galatians 3:27 and Romans are cited; Romans is called the first Book of Doctrine Paul writes.
Les explains that the truth of the Body of Christ comes alone from the writings of Paul; it is not taught in the Gospels or the Old Testament. He points to Galatians 3:27, where being baptized by the Holy Spirit's work into the Body of Christ means you have put on Christ. He also directs listeners to Romans, the first Book of Doctrine Paul writes, as a place to spend much time. The unity believers have as members of the Body of Christ comes from this Pauline teaching.
