How did the Jews oppose Paul throughout his ministry?

They followed him from city to city, opposing him at every opportunity and trying to defeat his ministry. Infuriated that he preached Gentiles were just as good as Jews and that there was no difference, they plagued the Apostle every step of his way until his death.

Les explains that Paul's message that Gentiles were just as good as Jews sent the Jewish community into orbit. For almost 2000 years they had been taught that they were special, a covenant people set apart from the rest of the world, not to intermarry. So when Paul said there is no difference, it infuriated them. They followed him from city to city, and in any way, shape, or form they could try to defeat him, they tried it. They plagued him until his death. Les also notes that the Pharisees could have put him to death because he made it plain that no one is righteous, not even the most religious Jew.
