Did Paul have an easier ministry than Abraham?

No, Paul did not have an easier ministry than Abraham. The Apostle Paul did not get through as easily as Abraham did; he suffered greatly, traveling on small boats and enduring the immoral Roman Empire while preaching the Gospel for the sake of spreading it to the ends of the Roman Empire.

Les explains that although one might think Paul had an easier ministry, the Apostle Paul did not get through as easily as Abraham did. Les was reminded of this while traveling the Mediterranean Sea, thinking of Paul bouncing around on a little boat not much bigger than a cork. Yet Paul did it all for the sake of the Gospel, to get it out to the ends of the Roman Empire. He was constantly in the midst of the immoral remains of the Roman Empire, yet never let it turn his mind aside; he just preached the Gospel. Les calls this quite a revelation. Then the context returns to verse 14, that the blessings of Abraham might come on the Gentiles, not through Israel, but through the finished work of the cross through Jesus Christ, so that Gentiles might receive the promise of the Holy Spirit through faith, without any works of the law, as a gift of God in the plan of redemption.
