How is a person justified in the sight of God according to Galatians 3:11?

According to Galatians 3:11, no one is justified by the law in God's sight; rather, the just shall live by faith plus nothing. Justification before God is by faith, not by the law, and the law cannot justify anyone in His sight.

Les explains that law-keeping may fool people into thinking they are Christian, but it never fools God. Galatians 3:11 states that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, for the just shall live by faith plus nothing. Verse 12 adds that the law is not of faith, but the man that doeth them must live in them. Les illustrates that anyone trying to keep the Law for salvation must keep it all—if necessary, with a temple, priest, and herd of sheep—yet even then it is impossible to accomplish.

Galatians 3:11

But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
