What happened in Acts chapter 9 that marked a turning point in God's dealings?

In Acts chapter 9, God supernaturally saved Saul of Tarsus, the arch-religionist and zealot, and immediately announced He would send him far hence to the Gentiles. That is when everything began to change, as God started having Gentile converts under the Gospel, moving from law to grace.

Les explains that Israel had rejected Christ at His first advent and continued in unbelief, even though Peter appealed to the nation over and over to repent of crucifying their Messiah. Finally, in Acts chapter 9, God did something supernatural by saving Saul of Tarsus, that arch-religionist and zealot, and immediately announced He would send him far hence to the Gentiles. Les says that is when everything began to change, because God began having Gentile converts under His Gospel. He connects this to Romans chapter 6, where the graphic statement is made that we are not under law but under grace. The Judaizers from Jerusalem then began to undermine the Gospel, trying to convince Gentiles they had to keep the Law of Moses and be circumcised, and the Galatians were falling to that.

Acts 9:15
